Glazing

An important component of any framing job is the consideration of glazing. We offer Clear, Non-Reflective, Conservation Clear, Acrylic and Museum Grade Glass. Our specialists will discuss and recommend the right glass for your individual piece.

We use a variety of backing materials. These include Foam board, Acrylic, MDF Panel, Corflute and Aluminium Composite Panel. The right material will be used for your order.

Hinging

We use a vast variety of methods for attaching or mounting artworks or items. All care and consideration is taken into the method of mounting, relevant to the item being framed. When dealing with old and fragile items for example, corner pockets, mounting strips and mylar encapsulation are ways of where nothing is adhered to the artwork. When hinging of the artwork is required, we use PH neutral, acid free hinging tape.

Memorabilia Framing

If you have a special, signed sports jersey folded up in your cupboard or a legendary player’s winning sports equipment, such as a cricket bat in a box in the garage, we can put it on show for you. All 3D objects, from singlets, caps, other apparel and everything in between, can be displayed in a framed case that not only looks great but will help to protect it for future generations to enjoy.

We can frame and display cricket bats, balls, music gear, boxing gloves, baseball gloves and any other item you can think of (within reason.. but we’re pretty good!).

These also make a great feature pieces for businesses that sponsor sports teams.

Heritage Framing

A more decorative style of picture framing, it lends itself to not only complimenting an art piece but to also replicating the look of a past era. This has been especially important with the combination of printing, photo restoration, document restoration and classic mount board styles to duplicate a pre-existing piece or create a new one faithful to that era.
